Our Bio-Toilets are eco-friendly products which can be installed in places where plumbing is a problem. The Bio-Toilet decomposes bodily waste and toilet paper into carbon dioxide and water with the aid of aerobic bacteria.

Safety / Odour Control

The Bio-Toilet is completely automatic. It turns itself off as soon as a user enters the stall and turns itself back on as soon as the user exits; it resumes the decomposition and odour elimination process as soon as the user leaves the room. When the daily limit of use has been reached ? 80 times a day ? LED lights will go on, warning the people to refrain from further use of the Bio-Toilet. After 7 hours, the lights will go off and the Bio-Toilet will be usable again.

For odour control, the Bio-Toilet uses a combination of titanium oxide photo-catalyst and a special odour removing filter which was developed with the use of grafting technology at the Takasaki Research Laboratory of the Nihon Nuclear Research Laboratory.
